TEST DRIVE MEME

Starting now, we'll put up a new one of these very month! Feel free to use the current setting of Pandora (Christmas in July) or make up your own! You can also use the following scenarios if you'd prefer:
1. Mushroom Kingdom
Have you ever wanted to be a fairy? Well now you are, even if the answer was no! The City is a big, big place, all of a sudden. Houses are roomy affairs inside giant mushrooms, there are colorful flowers everywhere you look, and the animals are always friendly! Unfortunately, the only food items being sold in the market this month are fruit, fruit, and.... more fruit.
2. School Town
You may be too old to attend the academy, but that doesn't seem to matter; your attendance is mandatory anyway. Or perhaps you're there to teach, because you're the only resident of Pandora that possesses a certain skill. It doesn't matter if it can't be learned; you have to come up with a lesson plan anyway. At least the uniforms aren't some god awful color, right?
3. Zombie Apocalypse.
There's no coming back from death in Pandora, so you'd better do all you can to survive. Three quarters of the city are already infected, and this is the last stand. Are you going to pool your resources and try to make it together, or is it time to stop trusting others and go it alone until the month is over?

[ Her blue eyes widen, then she's quickly taking off her cloak and already wrapping it around the man's shoulders. Yes, she's cold, but surely he must be colder, considering he is wearing much thinner clothing than she is. The cloak is rather long on her, so it will at least trap some of his body heat closer to his torso and his groin-- the places that are vital when it comes to warding off hypothermia, that is. She seems to have not quite noticed he's asked her another question. ]
You must be freezing... Have you been wandering in the snow for all these hours? There is a fireplace further inside. Come.

[Diarmuid tries to explain to her that he can't get cold, but before he can get the words out she is wrapping him in her cloak and pushing him toward the fireplace. He won't argue that the fire is beautiful, but it can't warm up what wasn't cold to begin with.]
Aren't you cold? You just came inside and I don't wish to take your wrap from you. My armor... It's warmer than it seems...
[She's so insistent that he can't bring himself to say that her actions, while kind, are totally unnecessary.]

No, no, truly... I'm fine. It's kept me warm enough while I walked here. I live nearby as it is, so there's no need to worry about me. Please-- I cannot send you back to your own world, but I can at least ensure you do not freeze nearly to death while you try to adapt to your--
[ Then, unexpectedly, she stops, her hands on the fastening at the collar still and her eyes widen a little again while she stares at him as though seeing him for the first time. She sweeps her tongue over her lips once quickly and slowly -- obviously with effort -- withdraws her hands. The sudden urge to kiss him is strong, but the fear that stirs in her is stronger and she manages not to actually do it. ]
--ah, to your new... surroundings...

[Diarmuid's voice trails off when his eyes catch the movements of her tongue over her lips. He draws in a shaky breath when he feels the spike of need those actions cause him. And then he freezes. He's had enough experience with love spells that he recognizes what is happening. He's just not sure of the source and he's not used to being on this side of the spell.
Is this how women who fall under his spell feel? And will this pass if he gives into the urge to kiss her he's feeling or is this something that will last longer like his curse does?
Diarmuid is thankful when she pulls away from him and it's obvious from the unease on her face that even if she doesn't mention it, she's felt something too.]
What is that?
[He winces when he hears how breathless his voice is.]
